60KV Very Low Frequency Test Set For Cable , VLF Cable Tester , HV Test , Generator Insulation

 

I. Application :

 

Model VLF-60KV/0.1Hz is designed to perform on-site withstand voltage test with very-low frequency test frequency for power generators or 35KV and below XLPE power cable.Compared with Hipot test set at main power frequency, VLF HV Test Set just needs much small test power capacity(About 1/500 in theory). Its size and weight also is decreased greatly. Specially the appearance of surveillance can discover the generator insulation abnormal phenomena such as surface corona, discharge and so on.

 

VLF hipot tester combines modern advanced digital variable frequency technology and micro computer control together, therefore, it can realize the full automatic voltage boost, stepdown, measurement and protection as well as the manual intervention in the process of automatic voltage boost. The full electronic design ensures the small size and light weight. The big LCD screen ensures the clear and visual display, and can display the output wave form. The printer outputs test reports

 

The test set  consists of a control box, one HV boosters, a compensation capacitor and a discharge rod.Based on electronic frequency conversion and microprocessor controlled technology, it has excellent performance on cable or generator testing.

III. Technical Feature
  • The data is accurate because that current, voltage, waveform data are sampled directly from the high voltage side;
  • It has overvoltage protection function. If the output voltage exceeds the set limit value, the instrument will shutdown with an action time less than 20 ms;
  • It has over current protection function. It will shutdown if current exceeds the set value in high voltage side with action time less than 20 ms. And it will shutdown if current exceeds rated current in low voltage side with action time less than 20 ms;
  • A built-in protection resistor and so no need other outside resistor;
  • It adopts high and low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit, and so voltage will not go up due to an inherent capacitance.
