I. Products Description
DPG series high-voltage discharge gap is a pair of copper gap electrodes with the same diameter. When it works together with high-voltage test transformer, control panel, voltage regulator, water resistance testing device, it can be used to high voltage discharge protection unit to the test object , operator and test set in AC/DC power frequency high voltage test circuit. then ensure the test safety.

The air can be collided freely under the action of a certain electric field strength. The discharge voltage of the air gap under a uniform or slightly uneven electric field has a certain relationship with the gap distance. So The ball gap can use the gap discharge for high voltage discharge protection. The ball gap is composed of a pair of metal balls with the same diameter. When the ball gap diameter D is larger than the ball gap distance L, the ball gap electric field is basically a slightly uneven electric field. The discharge voltage is determined only by the distance of the ball gap.
