Variable Frequency Resonant Withstand Voltage Test Set For Long HV XLPE Cable
I.Application :
This test set model CHX-9000KVA/150KV,300KV,450KV is designed for 132kV~400KV class long XLPE cable on-site AC hpot test and 362KV and below class GIS on-site AC hipot test with variable frequency resonant circuit technology; the highest test voltage is no more than 150KV,300KV,450KV through cylinder test reactor in parallel or in series connection ;the test frequency can be from 20-300Hz; the duty cycle is no more than 60mints.
Through modular test reactor is used in parallel or in seires, the test set model CHX-9000KVA/150KV,300KV,450KV also can be performed the following on-site AC hipot test:
1.1 No more than 150KV and 60A for long distance XLPE cable with no more than U0=87KV
1.2 No more than 300KV and 40A for long distance XLPE cable with no more than U0=160KV ;
170KV and below class GIS
1.3 No more than 450KV and 20A for long distance XLPE cable with no more than U0=230KV ;
362KV and below class GIS
Until now , these designed test set can form many different serialized model according to different HV or UHV withstand test applications through test reactors in series or in parallel connection and number of configurations in each set, The alike model can see clause 9.other typical model.

Note:1.Load capacitantor can be optional when small load line is tesing or need analog load to control test frequency.
2.Test reactor can be produced to be 130KV,150KV,155KV,200KV, 250KV, 300KV, 350KV, 400KV for each piece rated voltage according to different tested object scope or customer requried. The max. rated current of each HV reactor can be 1~5A,10A,15A,20A,25A,30A.
III. Test priciple figure:
VF: Variable Frequency Power Supply Source which is control and measurement part in the test circuit.
T : Excitation Transformer which provide the exciting voltage for HV test reactor
L : Test Reactor which is resonant inductance in the LC circuit and produce the test voltage
Cx: Tested Equipment
MOA1: Lightning Arrestor is protection part on the excitation transformer
C1,C2: Voltage divider(C1 is high voltage arm,C2 is low voltage arm ) which is HV voltage measurement part
