Newly researched, designed, and manufactured according to  Common technical condition for portable DC HV generator of China Industry Standard, the ZGF series DC hipot test set is a technology product of new era, suitable for DC high voltage test and leakage current measurement on zin oxide arrester ,magnetic blow-out arrester, power cable, power motor or generator, transformer, and switch in electric power department, scientific research unit, railway station, power plant, chemical plant and so on.

The test set is mainly composed of control box, cylinder type HV booster , fully shielded microammeter and DC discharge rod. The control box is used for control the test process and display test data , the cylinder type HV booster is to output DC high voltage , the fully shielded microammeter is for accurate display of leakage current and transfer the data to the control box.

High frequency multi-voltage circuit is adopted in the test set which takes the lead of the first application for the latest modulation technique of PWM high frequency pulse width, greatly enhancing voltage stability. High quality and portable type are achieved in DC HV generator which is also immune to damage from discharge at rated voltage thanks to the adoption of super power IGBT device and measures of special shielding, isolation and ground.

Product features

1. Smaller in size, lighter in weight, with fine appearance and complete function, more reliable, easy to operate, suitable for outdoor use, an optimal product in new era.
2. Adopt the most advanced technology and take the lead of the first application for the latest modulation technique of PWM high frequency pulse width and pulse string logic array modulation. Frequency is increased up to 100kHz with technology of high frequency, making output HV more stable and ripple ratio smaller.
3. Maintenance-free design. Main components are devices of advance technology import from US, Germany and Japan etc. which is durable and don’t need to worry about discharge continuous ground direct short-circuit.
4. High accuracy and correct measuring. Voltage and current meter all have digital display, with voltage resolution 0.1kV, and current 0.1uA. Voltage value applied to load test object is displayed directly through voltmeter on control cabinet, which needn’t to be connected with voltage divider on the outside when using, and lead connection is easy.
5. High stability in voltage regulation, smooth voltage regulation in full range. Voltage regulation of output adopts import single multi-rings potentiometer with rough adjustment and fine adjustment. Accuracy of voltage adjusting is better 0.1%, accuracy of voltage and current measuring is less than 1.0%, and ripple factor is better than 0.5%.
6. Negative polarity output, zero start, continuous adjustable, having the function of over voltage, over current, zero returning and ground protection. Operation is safe due to strong function of auto protecting circuit, technical index of all kinds surpassing industry standard and similar products.
7. Bring great convenience to measurement of zinc oxide arrester with the added function of high-accuracy 75%VDC-1mA; no calculation with a slight press given to the button. With 75% volt function key on control cabinet, open 0.75 button when current rises to 1000uA during lightening arrester test, at this time, value displayed on volt meter and current meter is 75% data. Rotate voltage-up knob and fine adjustment knob back to zero immediately after test is finished, and press green button, cut off HV and turn off power switch before doing other test.
8. Convenient over-voltage setting function. Setting volt value can has a visual display with adoption of digital dial switch which makes operation more casual, unit of value displayed being kV.
9. Segmental structure of high voltage booster. Suitable for field use, convenient and economy, one machine serves for several purposes.
10. Three concealed support legs are set at the bottom to increase the stability of high voltage booster.

Note : The control box(cabinet) is used for control the test process and display test data , the cylinder type HV booster(HV generator) is to output DC high voltage , the fully shielded microammeter(uA) is for accurate display of leakage current and transfer the data to the control box.
